,American civil worr gave birth to pav bhajji in our India , in America 1860 since the civil worr was running , and one of it consequences was that, the cotten supply outside America was affected , British mills desperately needed cotton ,They called Mumbai ,which was Bombay back than ,and Bombay answerd back , and a lot of cotten mill workers got into actions , this also meant that they had to work during odd hours .. ,Two reasons were pointed out for the same .1) Volum productions - Due to the volum of production , 2) Time Difference - it was obvious that the workers working late in the night whould get hungry ,but what do you ut then ??
In the street stall , leftover vegetables were mashed and mixed with gravy and this was served with pav . The (Pav) itself gotten into India because of the portuguese .
Some people says that pav is named pav , so because it's the 1/4 th of the bread
, And this is how our pavbhajji was born ,
Slowly this dish grew in popularity , and it went beyond bombay and to different corners of India too .
